Learning to read, write, speak and understand English has a lot of benefits to it.

English has been referred to as the “language of communication” and will enable you to gain access to knowledge through websites, books, the press, and news reports across the world!

It allows you to communicate with people on an international level. Almost all international conferences and competitions are conducted in English (the Olympics and the Miss World contest). Diplomats and politicians from different countries use English to communicate with each other. English is the main language of organisations like the United Nations, NATO, and the European Free Trade Association.

If you can communicate in English, you can contact people from all over the world and travel more easily (ask for directions, have a conversation or ask for help).

English can help you push your career forward! By obtaining a qualification in English your CV will become more desirable to employers. This will benefit you by increasing your chances of obtaining your dream job and/or earning more money!
