International ESOL Diploma (9992) The International ESOL Diploma is a combination of City & Guilds International ESOL and International Spoken ESOL. The qualification assesses all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. The diploma can be taken at six levels and was developed from the Common European Framework (CEF).
International ESOL (8984) a single exam paper which covers listening, reading and writing.
The City & Guilds International ESOL qualifications will help you demonstrate your ability to communicate in English to enable you to work or study in English-speaking countries and/or environments.
International Spoken ESOL (8985) which assesses real speaking ability through a one to one structured interview.
The City & Guilds International Spoken ESOL examinations offer a comprehensive test of spoken English which can either be a stand-alone examination or a complement to the International ESOL (reading, writing and listening) examination. The tasks in the examination are designed to test the use of English in real-life situations. The Spoken ESOL series of graded examinations provides ‘steps up the ladder’ of proficiency and can motivate students who are attending courses over a long period to continue their studies. They are suitable for learners attending short courses in English
