The OTHM Post Graduate Diploma prepares students for management within the tourism and hospitality industry. The course is designed to cater for local and international professionals within the industry who wish to gain the necessary qualifications and theoretical awareness to advance their careers or operations. It will also appeal to recent graduates who wish to acquire the specialist knowledge and qualifications necessary in order to manage tourism hospitality operations at a middle or senior management level.
Entry Requirements
- OTHM Higher Diploma (all six modules must be passed) with relevant 'audited' management experience within Travel, Tourism and Hospitality. OR
- BA (Hons) in Tourism & Hospitality from a British University with relevant 'audited' management experience within Travel, Tourism and Hospitality. OR
- Masters Holders with relevant 'audited' management experience within Travel, Tourism and Hospitality.
- OTHM may also consider mature students with 10 years or more senior management experience within Travel, Tourism and Hospitality
- Appropriate Level Of English Language Competency
- I.E.L.T.S 6.0

Who is this suitable for?
The OTHM Post Graduate Diploma in International Tourism and Hospitality Management is suitable for professionals who work in the industry and have already gained the OTHM Higher Diploma or similar qualification.
The qualification is appropriate for senior managers.
On completion of the OTHM Post Graduate Diploma students can transfer to the 2nd semester of MSc. International Tourism and Hospitality Management at the University of Hertfordshire.
Work experience
Post Graduate students are expected to have worked in the industry and be working part time during the course.
