Introduction to Payroll Administration
This basic level course will equip you with skills and awareness that will enable you to run efficiently a small business as an owner manager, a business unit as an employed manager or business supervisor with responsibility for daily operations, recording and reporting on business transactions, and managing staff and benefit systems.
Course objectives
Candidates will get a broad understanding of payroll procedures and relevant legislations that apply in the UK. The knowledge and skills gained will be relevant to the workplace and can be applied immediately in the day to day administration of a payroll system or division.
You will be able to respond to payroll queries professionally and avoid mistakes by your greater understanding of pitfalls and relevant UK payroll laws and regulations.
Delivery mode
Two consecutive days workshops with refreshments provided at tea breaks. Alternatively you may spread attendance over a two-week one day workshops. Each session will start at 10am and end at 5pm. Course notes will be provided in a handy folder. Workshop will be highly interactive with questions, feedback and contributions of experience from participants.
